Covington Arts - State Certified by the Kentucky Arts Council
Covington Arts' received State-level certification from the Kentucky Arts Council to showcase Covington’s rich cultural heritage and facilitate the promotion of local cultural assets. The certification promotes mixed use development and resulted in the City defining the arts and cultural district to overlay the entire downtown area of Covington and spans from the riverfront to 12th Street and from the Licking River boundary to the 71/75 interstate, and includes all of Devou Park.
Covington's Artisans Enterprise Center (AEC) is the headquarter office for the Covington Arts initiative located in the heart of the urban core at 27 West 7th Street in Covington.
The AEC is a viable community resource center for local artists, stakeholders, and businesses and provides public access to art, artists, and the creative process.
The facility has nearly 5,000 square feet of programmable space which includes an art gallery, conference room, and educational facility.
